Planmeca ProMax 3D is a product family consisting of exceptional all-in-one units. All Planmeca CBCT units support three different types of 3D dental imaging – as well as panoramic, extraoral bitewing and cephalometric imaging. Planmeca is the first company to combine three different types of 3D data within one X-ray unit, ensuring these intelligent machines meet all maxillofacial imaging requirements. The ProMax family brings together a Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) image, 3D face photo and 3D model scan into one 3D image – using the same advanced software.

It works with all volume and voxel sizes and adds less than 30 seconds to the overall reconstruction time.
Planmeca Ultra Low Dose imaging
Using the Planmeca Ultra Low Dose 3D imaging protocol is as simple as pressing a button. You can easily select it from the control panel of the X-ray unit – with the patient dose for the image immediately visible for full transparency.
This pioneering protocol is based on intelligent low dose 3D imaging algorithms that decrease effective patient doses significantly without a statistical reduction in image quality – helping clinicians adhere to the ALARA principle (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).
